Sarah-Jane Potts got her start in the world of acting at the ripe age of 17. Potts began her acting career in film, appearing in such titles as the action picture "Woundings" (1998) with Guy Pearce, the dramatic adaptation "My Son the Fanatic" (1999) with Om Puri and "Straydogs" (1999). She had a part on the television special "Bramwell IV" (PBS, 1998-99). She worked in television in her early acting career as well, including parts on "NYPD Blue" (1993-2005) and "Felicity" (1998-2002). She continued to work steadily in film throughout the nineties and the early 2000s, appearing in the drama "The Escort" (1999) with Daniel Auteuil, "Wonderland" (2000) and "Young Blades" (2001). Her work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Dalziel and Pascoe: Time to Go" (2000-01). She also played parts in television during these years, including roles in "Off Centre" (WB, 2001-03) and "American Dreams" (NBC, 2002-05). Recently, she tackled roles in the Tom Arnold comedy "National Lampoon's Barely Legal" (2005), the Kelly Overton drama "Breaking Dawn" (2006) and the comedy "Kinky Boots" (2006) with Joel Edgerton. She also had a part in the TV miniseries "Zen" (2010-11). She also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Keen Eddie" (Fox, 2002-03). Potts most recently acted on "Gracepoint" (Fox, 2014-15).
